Role Overview\nThis role provides design leadership across LOOP DFS Limited’s digital business by shaping how financial products are envisioned, designed, and experienced by customers. The Head of Product Design is responsible for driving the product design strategy with a user-first approach and managing a high-performing team of UI/UX designers and researchers.\n\n### Key Performance Areas\n- Strategic Leadership and User Research: Drive the product design strategy with a user-first approach, championing impactful user research that informs experience design across all touchpoints.\n- Team Management & Development: Inspire and manage a high-performing team of UI/UX designers and researchers, supporting talent growth while ensuring timely and excellent design execution.\n- Product Design & Execution: Oversee end-to-end design delivery with a sharp focus on UI quality, usability, accessibility, and innovation. Ensure product experiences are consistent with brand identity and user needs.\n- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to ensure design is integrated across the product lifecycle and supports business growth.\n- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all digital touchpoints align with LOOP DFS brand standards while evolving design systems and the company’s digital presence.\n\n### Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)\n#### Financial (10%)\n- Ensure design processes are cost-effective and contribute to reducing inefficiencies in product development.\n- Minimize outsourced work by building internal capability.\n\n#### Internal Business Processes (75%)\n- Design Strategy (20%): Define and maintain a scalable design framework rooted in user research. Lead UI/UX strategy to support evolving digital financial products.\n- Team Development (20%): Coach and mentor the design team, implement performance reviews, and foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence and innovation.\n- Execution & Delivery (20%): Lead design from concept to execution. Oversee research and testing. Ensure all deliverables meet timelines, accessibility standards, and product goals.\n- Cross-Team Collaboration (15%): Integrate design into product roadmaps. Translate business objectives into actionable design initiatives. Maintain alignment between teams.\n\n#### Customer (5%)\n- Translate user feedback and market insights into design decisions. Promote human-centered design that delivers seamless, engaging experiences for all LOOP users.\n\n#### Learning and Growth (10%)\n- Support design career paths, establish a feedback culture, and ensure team members meet professional development goals.
