This role is for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to join PrideInn's dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate is expected to ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations, delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high culinary and service standards.
- Ensure all dishes consistently meet quality, portion, and presentation specifications.
- Manage stock levels, monitor inventory, and oversee ordering processes.
- Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Prepare staff duty rosters, manage schedules, and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Facilitate seamless communication between the kitchen and service teams.
- Conduct on-the-job training and uphold brand and operational standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this senior culinary role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role.
- Diploma in Food Production or relevant culinary qualification.
- HACCP Certification is essential.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen management practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while leading by example.
