This role of Group Business Development Manager is responsible for strategizing and leading the efforts to generate revenue and drive brand recognition for the Group. The Manager will identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, develop strategic partnerships, and increase market penetration for the Group’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth and Revenue Generation
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Expand sales channels including direct sales, resellers, partnerships, and events.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and performance tracking.
- Oversee proposal development, negotiations, and closing of deals.
- Work closely with technical teams to align product offerings to market needs.
Market Development and Strategy
- Design and lead integrated marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness.
- Conduct competitive and market research to guide campaigns and messaging.
- Develop marketing collateral: product briefs, presentations, promos, and sales tools.
- Measure marketing ROI, campaign performance, and customer insights.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value and enterprise customers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team.
- Set KPIs and performance metrics for sales efficiencies and campaign impact.
- Coordinate with network, customer service, and finance departments.
Reporting Performance and Tracking
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports.
- Track KPIs including revenue growth, customer acquisition, churn and pipeline value.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Skills:
- A Degree in Business administration, Marketing, Sales, IT or any other business-related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel).
Experience:
- At least 5 years of work experience in Business Development or Sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
