The role of the Business Development Executive (Interiors) is pivotal in establishing and nurturing long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across the architecture, design, and construction sectors in Nairobi. This position requires proactive client engagement, strategic account management, and a focus on achieving ambitious sales and growth targets within the interiors market.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with architects, designers, contractors, distributors, and corporate clients to strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and forums to expand the company’s visibility and professional network.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to convert qualified leads into opportunities and close deals aligned with company goals.
- Provide timely inputs and collaborate with the support team to develop tailored proposals and solutions based on client requirements.
- Gather client feedback on proposals, adjust solutions as needed, and negotiate contracts to secure successful outcomes.
- Manage and grow existing accounts to ensure sustained client satisfaction and long-term business growth.
- Work closely with lead generation, marketing, and product teams to share insights, align campaigns, and provide input on pricing, product development, and market positioning.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline progress; deliver regular reports on sales activities, relationship-building efforts, and revenue outcomes.
- Share feedback on lead quality and market trends to help refine strategies and improve client engagement efforts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and business growth objectives through proactive client engagement and strategic account management.
Key Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant course.
