Business Development Officer (Credit & Lending Focus)

Key Responsibilities

• Market and sell loan and financial products to individuals and businesses.
• Advise clients on suitable credit products based on their financial needs.
• Build and manage strong client relationships through regular meetings and follow-ups.
• Conduct credit reviews, renewals, and support preparation of credit appraisals.
• Analyze client financial data and assess creditworthiness.
• Support loan processing, documentation, and disbursement activities.
• Prospect for new clients and develop referral networks.
• Ensure proper KYC documentation and confidentiality of client records.
• Prepare loan presentations for internal credit committees.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in business development or credit management.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services preferred.
• Strong customer relationship, communication, and analytical skills.
