Maseno University is inviting applications for the position of Grounds Man. There are twenty-two (22) vacancies available for this role. The successful candidates will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the university's outdoor grounds and landscaping facilities.
Terms of Service
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract.
Duration: Maximum period of six (6) months.
Renewability: The contract is non-renewable.
Responsibilities
While specific daily duties are not enumerated in the advertisement, a Grounds Man is typically responsible for:
Maintaining lawns through mowing, weeding, and trimming.
Planting, watering, and pruning trees and ornamental plants.
Clearing litter and debris to maintain campus cleanliness.
Operating and maintaining gardening tools and manual equipment.
Assisting with general outdoor labor and site preparation as required.
