Role Overview
Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their team in Nairobi. This role is specialized within the engraving and signage industry, requiring a strong technical understanding of layouts and branding for promotional corporate gifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating client visions into precise, print-ready designs and overseeing the production process for various branding techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Layout: Utilize CorelDRAW to create technical layouts and graphics specifically for engraving and signage.
Branding & Customization: Execute promotional branding and customization of gift items for corporate clients.
Production Readiness: Translate client concepts into print-ready designs compatible with various branding machines and techniques.
Process Management: Oversee the entire production process for signage and promotional materials to ensure quality and precision.
Innovation: Propose innovative and creative branding solutions for promotional items.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising on detail.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND in Design or a related field.
Software Proficiency: Mandatory and expert proficiency in CorelDRAW graphics software.
Industry Experience: Proven experience in the engraving and signage industry is required.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of technical layouts, print-ready design specifications, and signage production processes.
Key Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management, and a creative mindset.
