Graduate Trainees

This role is part of the Graduate Trainee Programme at East African Smart Villages and Rural Mobility Limited (locally known as Kisii Smart Community and Songa Mobility). This intensive three- to six-month opportunity is designed to kickstart your career by providing hands-on experience and training across key areas within the rapidly growing e-mobility platform.

Kisii Smart Community is dedicated to addressing the challenges of unsustainable urbanization and the growth of informal settlements by focusing on the needs of rural Africans. Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions that ensure better access to essential services and opportunities for economic growth through the development of a comprehensive platform for sustainable rural development.

Programme Focus Areas

Selected trainees will receive hands-on experience and training across the following key areas:

• Professional Drivers
• E-mobility Technicians and Mechanics
• Hub or Plant Operators
• Agri-Economy Capacity Builders
• Business Development Specialists
• IT and Data Analysts
• Finance and Accounting Professionals

Qualifications and Requirements

The internship program will run for a duration of 3 to 6 months. To qualify for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Must be a university graduate (BA/BSc/HND).
• Skills: Demonstrate competencies relevant to our various business functions and value chains.
• Availability: Commit to the full program duration of either 3 months or 6 months.
• Location: Be willing to work from any of our hubs located in Kisii, Narok, Nyamira, Bomet, or other designated areas.
