Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing the company’s diverse property portfolio, driving growth, optimizing performance, and ensuring excellence in customer service across operations, sales, property management, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan, driving overall growth initiatives and long-term success.
Team Management: Provide strong organizational leadership by fostering teamwork, accountability, high performance, and employee engagement across all departments. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of 20+ direct reports.
Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations while implementing efficient processes, systems, and frameworks to optimize service delivery and operational performance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in key stakeholder, partner, and external engagements to strengthen relationships and business positioning.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by supporting the sales team, developing innovative sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities and market trends.
Property Management: Oversee comprehensive property management, including leasing, renewals, rent reviews, and tenant relationship management to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Financial Oversight: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring financial integrity, profitability, and effective cost control.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role within real estate, property management, or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial real estate markets, especially in Nairobi.
Proven ability to oversee multiple functions including operations, sales, property management, and finance.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage large teams (20+ direct reports).
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
