Job Description
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager 2. This role involves the personal execution and management of Church and contract professionals to identify, evaluate, acquire, dispose, manage, negotiate, lease, and close activities related to Church real estate interests. The successful candidate will provide technical real estate advice and act as a resource for internal customers and priesthood leaders.
Responsibilities
Manage projects and professional services providers (corporate services and other disciplines and support processes).
Prepare and review binding legal documents.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate the acquisition and disposal of real estate interests.
Provide technical real estate advice and serve as a resource for customers and priesthood leaders.
Analyze, prepare, and deliver presentations for project approvals.
Conduct project management report meetings and perform administrative duties.
Interface with peers in other departments or disciplines.
Mentor or train Real Estate Specialists (RES), Real Estate Assistants (REA), or REPM 1 staff as approved.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
Temple Worthiness: Must be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Real Estate-related fields.
Certification: Real estate-related Licensing/Certifications (e.g., broker, agent, property title, escrow, attorney, etc.), or equivalent certification in a non-U.S. country.
Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) years of demonstrated expertise in real estate transactions, including site identification and analysis, negotiations, contracts, leases, site evaluations, appraisals, title reports, property closings, and applicable governmental requirements.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken). Ability to speak French is an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
