Key Responsibilities
- Drive business strategy, growth, and market expansion.
- Ensure full compliance with CBK regulations, AML/CFT, and data protection standards.
- Oversee operations, service delivery, and system reliability.
- Build strategic partnerships with banks, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), fintechs, and government entities.
- Lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Oversee product innovation across payment APIs, collections, disbursements, wallets, and International Money Transfer (IMT) services.
- Manage financial performance, risk, and profitability.
Qualifications & Experience
This role requires a highly experienced leader with a deep understanding of the digital financial services landscape in a regulated environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years’ experience in fintech, payments, banking, or digital financial services.
- 7+ years in senior leadership roles within a regulated environment.
- Proven experience scaling payment or digital financial services.
