The role is for a full-time Lecturer in Medical Physiology within the Department of Biomedical Sciences. This multi-disciplinary department includes expertise in Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Medical Physiology, and Pharmacology, focusing on inspiring, innovating, and leading in Biomedical Science teaching and learning. The successful faculty member will be central to delivering high-quality teaching in Medical Physiology across the MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BSc Nursing undergraduate programmes.
Furthermore, the faculty will have an important role in embedding research expertise into the discipline and the Department of Biomedical Sciences, and will be required to develop high-quality, productivity-driven networks both internally across Aga Khan University (AKU) and externally with local, national, and international partners.
