Filing Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• File Management: Receive operations files from the manifest team, maintain logs of received files, and ensure they are sequentially placed on the shelves.
• Gate Pass Administration: Receive gate passes from the gate pass team, verify that all proper documents are attached, and archive them physically and digitally in the TEMBO system.
• Interchange Processing: Receive and check Empty transporter interchanges, maintain logs, file them sequentially, and alert management of potential charges from depots.
• Stationery Management: Safeguard company stationery, ensure requests are made in a timely manner, and maintain an accurate log of inventory.
• Audit Support: Support staff during audits by retrieving required files and keeping an accurate log of files transferred out of the filing space.
• Other Duties: Perform any other duties as advised by management.

Profile and Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Records Management, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of the TEMBO archiving system.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar clerical or records management role.
