The role of the Field Service Engineer specializing in Automation is to ensure the optimal performance and commissioning of Sidel's equipment at customer plants, adhering strictly to technical, contractual, and safety standards. This role involves significant travel (up to 90%) and requires hands-on technical expertise in complex automation and mechanical systems.
Your Mission (Responsibilities and Duties)
- Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.
- Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
- Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
- Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures, Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer rules.
- Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site.
- Execute technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables.
- Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities.
Your Profile (Qualifications and Requirements)
Level of Education and Language
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent level of English is a must.
- French is an advantage.
Level of Experience and Skills
- Specialization in automation-mechanic or aseptic is a plus.
- Experience in the beverage industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field activities.
- Technical subject matter expertise on Mechanical, Automation (B&R, Siemens, Elau & AB), Electrical, or Aseptic systems.
- Availability to travel up to 90% (Including International Locations).
