The Field Collection Supervisor (Boda Offline) is responsible for leading team leaders and field agents within the boda-boda offline collection segment. This role ensures that performance targets are met through effective case distribution, process flow maintenance, and strategic oversight. The supervisor acts as a critical link between field operations and departmental leadership, focusing on portfolio health and expense reduction.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance: Ensure team leaders meet their performance-based targets and maintain equity when distributing cases among leaders.
Process Management: Oversee and maintain the country-wide offline process flow for work and cases.
Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement strategies to improve collection performance and reduce overall operational expenses.
Operational Approvals: Review and make necessary operational approvals for field activities.
Monitoring: Regularly monitor portfolio performance and individual agent activities to ensure efficiency.
Liaison: Serve as the primary communication link between team leaders and the Head of Department.
Staff Development: Facilitate the training of new team leaders and field collection staff, while providing ongoing coaching to existing personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: At least four years of relevant experience in debt collection or field operations.
Communication: Fluent in both English and Swahili with excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams.
Attributes: High integrity, loyalty, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
