Job Description
UNICEF is seeking a high-quality consultant to facilitate the 2026 Regional People and Culture Network Meeting (PCNM). The facilitator will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the meeting's flow, ensuring that sessions stay on schedule and remain interactive. This role involves significant pre-meeting planning, stakeholder engagement, and the development of thematic content related to the Future of Work and Change Management.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in planning meetings to finalize the meeting agenda, activities, and logistics prior to the PCNM.
Conduct a pre-network participants survey to inform the agenda of the retreat.
Prepare a comprehensive facilitation plan for the PCNM based on the prescribed agenda.
Develop, introduce, and close out meeting days and individual sessions; conduct pre-meetings with facilitators as required.
Ensure meeting sessions flow smoothly and adhere to time constraints.
Facilitate plenary discussions, panels, small group discussions, and other interactive activities.
Lead 1-2 selected thematic sessions focusing on the Future of Work and/or Change Management.
Effectively involve virtual participants in the sessions to ensure an inclusive environment.
Develop and lead icebreakers, energizers, and team-building activities.
Conduct a brief evaluation and prepare a short report documenting the results.
Requirements and Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA/MSc/MA) in a relevant discipline, ideally in organizational development and/or communications.
At least five (5) years of professional experience in facilitating and coordinating events, including regional meetings or workshops.
Experience in areas relevant to People and Culture or Change Management.
A professional background in human resources management is considered a strong asset.
Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Full working knowledge of online and interactive meeting technology.
Previous working experience with the UN or other international organizations is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish effective work relationships.
Flexible and able to respond to and accommodate change easily.
Administrative skills and the ability to work independently and remotely under minimal supervision.
