Executive Chef

This Executive Chef role is responsible for overseeing all daily culinary operations for a luxury establishment. This position demands comprehensive management of kitchen finances, staff development, menu engineering, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols. Please note that this placement is in a remote location within Sub-Saharan Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily culinary operations.
• Oversee Financials, Budget, and Costing, including capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX).
• Ensure robust Hygiene and Safety standards are met.
• Implement Staff development and training programs.
• Perform Menu engineering and optimization.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this remote role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A BA/BSc/HND qualification is required.
• Mandatory experience working in a Sub-Saharan African location.
• Prior experience in luxury hospitality or international hotel environments.
• Must have been in a similar Executive Chef position for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote location.
• This role requires travelling as single status or spousal only.
