St. Joseph’s Technical Institute, Nyang’oma, a public institution under the Ministry of Education, is seeking a qualified Entrepreneurship Trainer. The role involves delivering specialized training, managing student assessments, and contributing to curriculum development within the institute's academic framework.
Duties and Responsibilities
Undertake training in areas of specialization, specifically Entrepreneurship.
Prepare professional training documents including lesson plans and schemes of work.
Set, moderate, administer, and mark examinations.
Conduct research under supervision and supervise trainees’ projects and practical work.
Provide guidance and counseling to students and maintain discipline among trainees.
Participate in curriculum development and review processes.
Develop training manuals to assist in the instructional process.
Participate in performance appraisals and perform any other duties as assigned by the institution.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Entrepreneurship or an equivalent qualification.
Licensing: Must be licensed by TVETA or meet the necessary requirements for licensing.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
Methodology: Knowledge of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) is essential.
Skills: Must be computer literate.
Compliance: Must possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
