Engineer - Revenue Management (Convergent Charging System and Billing)

Role Overview

As an Engineer in Revenue Management specializing in Convergent Charging Systems (CCS) and Billing, you will be a key player in the product development lifecycle. Your primary focus is to ensure faster time-to-market by translating business and customer requirements into robust technology specifications. You will be responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-grade products, including bespoke and complex solutions for corporate clients, while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development: Participate in the full product development lifecycle to achieve faster time-to-market.
• Technical Translation: Translate business and customer requirements into technology specifications that meet current and future needs.
• System Deployment: Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-grade products and services, including bespoke and complex solutions for corporate clients.
• Operations & Maintenance: Conduct platform operation and maintenance activities to ensure high system availability.
• Innovation: Research, review, and recommend emerging technologies and innovative customer solutions, collaborating with stakeholders for technology adoption.
• Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance by executing unit tests, system integration tests (SITs), and user acceptance tests (UATs) for new products and services.
• Problem Solving: Ensure quality and accuracy while addressing all customer-related issues.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with team members, enterprise commercial teams, and other technical squads.
• Automation: Automate and digitize processes to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong skills in Linux/Unix environments.
• Database expertise, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Software development skills in Java or Python.
• Knowledge of GSM technologies.
• A team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred (Added Advantage) Qualifications

• Experience with Huawei Convergent Billing System (CBS).
• Experience in designing, configuring, and deploying enterprise products and services.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Cloud technologies.
• Skills in system analysis and design.
