The Makueni County Public Service Board is inviting applications for the position of Director, Human Resource Management & Development (Job Group 'R'). This senior-level role is offered on permanent and pensionable terms of service. The successful candidate will lead the Human Resource department, overseeing strategic management and development functions within the county.\n\n### Salary Scale\nKshs. 127,340 - 182,890 per month.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\nTo be eligible for this role, candidates must:\n- Be a Kenyan citizen.\n- Have at least twelve (12) years of relevant working experience, with six (6) years in a management position.\n- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Planning, Business Administration, Education, Sociology, Political Science/Government, Anthropology, or any other relevant Social Science from a recognized institution.\n- Hold a Master's degree in any of the following fields: Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Planning, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, Counseling Psychology, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.\n- Possess a Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) or its equivalent lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution.\n- Be a member of a relevant professional body (e.g., IHRM).\n- Have a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.\n\n### Mandatory Clearance Documents\nShortlisted candidates will be required to provide originals of their National Identity Card and academic/professional certificates, as well as clearances from:\n- Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI/CID)\n- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)\n- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)\n- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)\n- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)\n\n### Important Notes\n- Applicants should provide all details requested; providing incorrect information is an offence.\n- Academic and professional certificates not obtained by the closure of the advert should not be included.\n- Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification.\n- The Board does not charge any fees for job applications, shortlisting, or appointments.
