The job holder is responsible for driving sales and enhancing the brand image of Optiven Limited. This role encompasses leading the digital marketing team, developing and executing effective digital marketing strategies, managing budgets efficiently, and optimizing content for engagement and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development & Execution
- Implement and continually optimize digital marketing strategies for improved performance.
- Analyze and refine past strategies based on performance data, adapting them to meet evolving business goals.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and digital marketing best practices.
- Support event planning and management by providing necessary digital materials and coverage.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, viral challenges, and emerging technologies to keep marketing efforts innovative.
- Generate social media and Google ads to market our products in order to generate leads that can convert.
AI-Driven Marketing, Analytics & Innovation
- Champion the adoption and strategic use of AI-powered tools across digital marketing, including content creation, SEO, paid media optimization, lead scoring, and performance analytics.
- Leverage AI-enabled analytics to generate actionable insights on customer behavior, campaign effectiveness, conversion trends, and ROI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Integrate AI tools into creative workflows (design, copy, video, and automation) to improve turnaround time, consistency, and output quality while safeguarding brand standards.
- Guide and train the digital marketing team on the effective, ethical, and compliant use of AI tools, ensuring alignment with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI and marketing technologies and recommend enhancements that support sales growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure AI-driven initiatives align with overall marketing strategy, customer experience objectives, and business goals.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage monthly budgets for digital advertising across platforms.
- Manage campaign budgets and payments as per agreed parameters.
- Track campaign performance in real-time and adjust budgets as needed to maximize ROI.
- Ensure all campaigns remain within budget and contribute to overall sales objectives.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Oversee content creation, including planning, scheduling, and posting on social media platforms.
- Oversee photographers, designers, and other teams to produce creative and engaging content.
- Monitor and respond to customer queries across digital channels.
Lead Generation & Management
- Generate leads daily through digital platforms, ensuring proper distribution to sales teams.
- Reactivate old leads and maximize engagement to drive conversions.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead generation, campaign performance, and overall digital activities.
- Train relevant departments, like sales, on digital lead generation techniques.
Social Media Management
- Create and manage high-quality content (banners, videos, blog posts) optimized for SEO and tailored to target audiences.
- Identify, engage, and manage influencers to enhance brand visibility and ensure campaign objectives are met.
- Regularly refresh social media channels with content that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, and events.
- Employ new techniques and adhere to web etiquette to maximize online presence.
- Social media planning and scheduling – guiding the Photographer and Designer on content and timing.
- Manage relationships with influencers and external partners to boost reach and engagement.
- Set targets for the selected influencers in consultation with Directors and ensuring that targets are met.
- Set terms of agreement with the influencers in consultation with the Legal Team.
- Staying on top of the latest social media trends.
- Enhance customer engagement and loyalty by creating compelling, engaging, and relevant content that resonates with the audience and encourages interaction.
Website Management
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company website.
- Ensure the website remains user-friendly and interactive.
- Ensure website information is up-to-date with relevant content.
People Management (10%)
- Supervise and support the digital media team, ensuring effective task distribution and coordination with other departments.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide feedback and training.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, handle disciplinary issues, and promote team growth through training and development.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to the team, setting goals and expectations.
- Set performance objectives and key performance indicators for team members.
- Identify skills and development gaps within the team.
- Address and solve conflicts that may arise within the team.
- Implement strategies to keep team members motivated.
- Maintain open and effective communication within the team.
- Mentor and support team members.
Other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor in Marketing, Linguistics, Business Administration, Media and Communication or Any Other Related Field (BA/BSc/HND).
- A Master’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Or A Related Field (MBA/MSc/MA) is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications in Artificial Inteligence (AI), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, and Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
- Certificate in Private-Public Partnerships (Added Advantage).
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience in graphic design or a related creative field.
- At least two (2) years of the above experience must have been in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into creative and marketing workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
