GoCare Training Institute (GTI) is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Deputy Principal to work alongside the Principal in leading the institution towards academic excellence and institutional growth. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure high standards of educational programming, and maintain strict compliance with TVET regulatory frameworks. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive learning environment and cultivating a high-performing team of educators and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Visionary Leadership: Provide leadership in alignment with the institution's mission, values, and strategic goals.
Program Development: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of effective and relevant educational programs.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the institution adheres to all educational and regulatory standards, including TVETA and TVET CDACC regulations.
Institutional Growth: Provide leadership toward the development, expansion, and long-term sustainability of the institute.
Team Management: Lead recruitment efforts for academic staff and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team.
Learning Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined environment for both staff and students.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with industry partners, the community, and other stakeholders to enhance the institution's reputation and student opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Academic Background: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant profession. A Master's Degree will be a significant added advantage.
Professional Certification: Must have TVETA Registration and Licensing.
Pedagogical Training: A Post Graduate Certification in Technical Training Education (Pedagogy).
Leadership Experience: Proven experience in academic administration or institutional leadership roles.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in technical education teaching or training.
Regulatory Knowledge: Excellent understanding of TVETA, TVET CDACC, and CBET (Competency-Based Education and Training) requirements and frameworks.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Attributes: High level of reliability, flexibility, and a passion for creating a lasting impact on learners and the industry.
