This role involves providing comprehensive dental care, promoting oral health strategies, and ensuring the quality of dental services offered to patients. The Dentist is also responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy environment for patients and other stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health conditions.
Perform preventive dental procedures.
Perform oral surgery procedures.
Prescribe medications.
Conduct examinations of patients.
Provide instructions to patients on oral hygiene.
Stay updated with industry best practices and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality, and ethical care.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Dental Surgery from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
Must hold a valid practicing license.
Possess professional insurance indemnity cover.
Have at least 3 years’ experience in a busy hospital setting.
