
The Strategies for Northern Development
The Livelihood Officer will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of targeted livelihood and economic strengthening interventions under the PROTECT Project in the Moyale cross-border cluster (Kenya–Ethiopia). Working closely with vulnerable households, at-risk youth, women’s groups, and community structures, the officer aims to strengthen sustainable livelihood opportunities that reduce child protection risks such as unsafe migration, harmful practices, and economic vulnerability. This role promotes small-scale income-generating activities, vocational skills development, and financial inclusion while ensuring strong linkages between livelihoods and protection outcomes in fragile cross-border contexts.
