The Company Manager (Specialist in Marketing) role is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the company's overall operations, with a strong emphasis on marketing, sales, and business development to drive growth and achieve targets. This role requires a blend of high-level management, financial oversight, and specialist marketing expertise.
Management Duties
- Represent the company in governmental entities, other companies, customs clearance agencies, and business bodies.
- Manage office staff, supervising their timely attendance, providing tasks and duties, and following up on work completion on a proper and timely basis.
- Supervise the company’s financial affairs, including managing the M-pesa account, daily expenses, and ensuring timely payments of rents, bills, etc.
- Oversee the renewal of company licenses, office contracts, and any other necessary documents.
- Supervise all sales, shipping, and delivery of products sold, and resolve any related problems and issues.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, offering suggestions and solutions to overcome challenges, achieve desired results, and meet targeted sales.
- Manage customs clearance for newly arrived products and oversee inventory management, reporting product supply status to the leadership when inventory is low.
- Perform any tasks assigned by the company’s leadership.
Marketing Duties (Specialist Focus)
- Develop marketing strategies, policies, and plans on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis, and supervise their implementation.
- Develop the business by finding new clients, meeting with them, and signing contracts.
- Supervise customer service and customer relations, managing public relations and problem resolution.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing directions, and monitoring their work and achievements.
- Manage the social media and digital marketing team, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and supervising their duties and activities.
- Perform any tasks assigned by the company’s leadership.
Requirements
Education
- At least a Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, finance, or similar fields.
- A Master's degree is considered a plus point.
Experience
- At least 8 years of overall experience in business management, including a minimum of 5 years specifically in cosmetics management.
