This consultancy role with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) focuses on developing and producing key communication materials in partnership with Kenya Airways (KQ) to raise public awareness about human trafficking and counter-trafficking efforts. The consultant is responsible for ensuring all deliverables adhere to IOM and KQ standards and promote appropriate gender, diversity, and inclusion awareness.
Tasks to be Performed under this Contract
- Produce a video (between 1:30 and 2:00 minutes long) for various platforms (KQ’S in-flight video system, airport terminals TV screens, and online via social media channels) to raise awareness about human trafficking and the combined efforts of IOM and Kenya Airways to combat it.
- Produce a poster design highlighting the dangers of human trafficking and the necessary actions to take upon identifying a victim or if one becomes a victim. The posters will primarily be displayed in airport terminals.
- Produce a business card design for KQ travellers informing them on who to contact if they identify a victim of trafficking or become a victim of trafficking.
- Ensure that there is appropriate gender, diversity and inclusion awareness in all IOM external communications.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Performance Indicators for Evaluation of Results
- One video (between 1:30-2:00 minutes long) submitted to and approved by IOM, raising awareness on human trafficking and the efforts by IOM and Kenya Airways to combat it.
- One poster submitted to and approved by IOM which raises awareness on human trafficking.
- One business card submitted to and approved by IOM which raises awareness of human trafficking.
Expected Timeline and Payment Distribution
- First deliverable: Submission of draft video, poster and business cards by email by 2 January 2026.
- Second deliverable: Submission of final video, poster and business cards by email by 9 January 2026.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Communications, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; OR
- University degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Communications or a related field with seven years of relevant professional experience.
