Job Description
The Kenya Red Cross Society is seeking a Commercial Producer Intern to join its media and production team. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of commercial media production, supporting the production team across all stages of content creation, from initial concept development to final post-production delivery.
Responsibilities
Pre-Production
Assist in research, concept development, and project planning.
Support the preparation of call sheets, production schedules, and other essential production documents.
Coordinate logistics including location scouting, prop sourcing, and talent requirements.
Production (On-Set)
Provide on-ground support during film and photo shoots.
Assist with crew coordination and effective time management on set.
Support the Commercial Producer in ensuring smooth and efficient set operations.
Post-Production
Support the organization of raw footage and various production assets.
Assist in coordinating the editing process and managing feedback cycles.
Track project deliverables and ensure timelines are met.
Minimum Requirements
A diploma or degree in Film, TV, Media, Communication, or a related field.
Basic understanding of production workflows (pre-production, production, and post-production).
Familiarity with digital content platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Previous academic or practical experience in media or production is considered an added advantage.
Must be available for a full-time internship for a duration of at least three (3) months.
