Job Description
Plainsview Hospital is located in Kiambu County along Thika Super Highway in Ruiru town and has been serving the community since 1999. The hospital is seeking qualified Clinical Officers to provide high-quality medical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Role Summary
Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring safe, timely, and evidence-based care in line with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct clinical assessments and making diagnoses for patients.
Provide medical treatment in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
Ensure all care is evidence-based and adheres to hospital safety standards and protocols.
Respond to medical emergencies within the casualty/emergency unit.
Maintain clear communication and collaborate effectively with the medical team.
Manage clinical records and patient documentation.
Work flexible shifts, including night duties and weekends as scheduled.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
Must be registered with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
Must possess a Valid Practicing License.
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a high-volume casualty or emergency unit.
Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) training certificates are mandatory.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
