Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is looking for motivated Civil Engineer Interns to join its team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to gain practical experience in the energy sector, specifically within the development and maintenance of large-scale civil infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design, construction, monitoring, and commissioning of civil structures and infrastructure.
Support the repair and maintenance of dams, civil structures, and roads.
Participate in the supervision of construction, installation, and commissioning of dams, civil structures, and access roads.
Assist in scheduling for the test and calibration of civil equipment.
Support contract management and administration processes.
Aid in the preparation of drilling sites, waterlines, well pads, and cellars.
Ensure strict adherence to quality, occupational health, and safety (OHS) standards.
Requirements and Person Specifications
Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Must be accredited by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the company's business areas across Kenya.
