As one of the largest insurers and financial services companies in East Africa, ICEA Lion Group is seeking a Certified Insurance Sales Representative for an on-site role in Nairobi. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping clients protect and create their wealth through innovative financial products and services in a constantly changing world.
Key Responsibilities
Sell a variety of insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
Engage with clients to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
Prospect for new clients and generate leads to meet sales targets.
Maintain and service existing insurance policies to ensure client retention.
Foster and maintain lasting relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall growth and sales targets of the group.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through diligent follow-ups.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Certification: A valid certification in insurance sales or a related professional field is mandatory.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the insurance or financial services sector is considered an added advantage.
Skills:
Proven expertise in insurance and general sales processes.
Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage operations.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in computer software related to sales and customer management (CRM).
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
