The role of the Business Development Officer (Ruaka) reports to the Head of Business Development. This position is responsible for coordinating all branch activities, encompassing strategic Business Development, Key Account Management, People Management, Customer experience, Marketing, and general branch Administration.
Key Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for coordinating all branch activities including:
Business Development initiatives
Key Account Management duties
People Management (leadership and supervision)
Ensuring excellent Customer experience
Marketing activities specific to the branch
General branch Administration
Minimum Job Requirements
For appointment to this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in business management or its equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience, with at least two (2) years in a leadership role.
Expertise: Proven experience in Business Development.
Skills: Excellent negotiation and selling skills.
Work Ethic: Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership qualities.
