This role is for a Business Development Officer based in Bungoma. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all key activities at the branch. This is a crucial leadership position focused on driving growth, managing operations, and ensuring high service standards.
Role Scope and Responsibilities
The position requires coordination of all branch activities, which include:
- Business Development initiatives to expand membership and services.
- Key Account Management.
- People Management, including supervision and performance of branch staff.
- Ensuring excellent Customer Experience delivery.
- Implementing local Marketing strategies.
- Managing general branch Administration and operational efficiency.
Minimum Job Requirements
For appointment to this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business management or its equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years’ professional experience.
- Leadership Experience: At least two (2) years of experience must have been in a leadership role.
- Expertise: Proven Business Development experience.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation and selling skills.
- Autonomy: Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Attributes: Demonstrated Leadership qualities.
