Job Purpose
To drive property sales and business growth by prospecting, engaging, and converting potential clients through field sales, site visits, referrals, and relationship management, while professionally representing Nyota Njema Real Estate and its investment offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities
The associate is expected to perform the following duties:
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential buyers and investors through field activities, referrals, networking, activations, and digital leads.
- Conduct property presentations, site visits, and client meetings to showcase Nyota Njema Real Estate projects and investment opportunities.
- Qualify clients by assessing their budgets, financing options, preferred locations, and investment objectives.
- Present accurate and up-to-date property information including pricing, payment plans, legal documentation processes, and project timelines.
- Negotiate offers and close sales in line with approved pricing policies and internal approval structures.
- Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the sales pipeline and achieve timely conversions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, site visits, bookings, and closed sales in the CRM or designated reporting tools.
- Build, manage, and sustain strong client relationships to encourage referrals, repeat purchases, and long-term loyalty.
- Upsell and cross-sell alternative properties and value-added services where appropriate.
- Professionally handle client inquiries, objections, and feedback, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, legal, and customer service teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and completion of documentation.
- Participate in property launches, open days, exhibitions, roadshows, and promotional activities as required.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and defined activity KPIs.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to management.
- Stay informed on company projects, competitor offerings, real estate market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to company policies, ethical selling standards, and brand representation guidelines at all times.
Key Skills, Requirements, and Qualifications
The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager and must meet the following criteria:
- Education/Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in field sales, property sales, insurance, banking, or high-value product sales.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to close deals and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Core Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship management skills.
- Compensation Structure: Comfortable working on a retainer plus commission-based compensation structure.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and ability to use CRM and reporting tools.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites (added advantage).
- Professionalism: High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.
