About the Role
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board is the Drug Regulatory Authority established under the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Chapter 244 of the Laws of Kenya. The Board regulates the Practice of Pharmacy and the Manufacture and Trade in drugs and poisons. The Board aims to implement appropriate regulatory measures to achieve the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality for all drugs.
The Board is looking for an Assistant Administrative Officer to support various clerical and administrative functions within the organization.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in:
Processing monthly and periodic reports on administrative issues.
Entering data on assets requiring repairs.
Collecting and compiling data for monitoring the location and movement of equipment.
Assisting in ensuring general cleanliness of stations and the workplace environment.
Ensuring timely servicing of office machines.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration, Business Management/ Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Compliance with the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya (Integrity).
