Maiyan Luxury Resort is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage billing processes, ensure accurate revenue reconciliation, and oversee the collections cycle. This role is essential for maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring all financial transactions related to incoming revenue are handled with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Reconciliation & Reporting: Manage and reconcile revenue streams, providing detailed reports on financial performance.
Billing & Invoicing: Oversee the management of invoices and the collection of outstanding payments from clients and partners.
Debtor Tracking: Proactively track debtors and conduct consistent follow-ups to ensure timely settlement of accounts.
Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and operations teams to align financial processes with business activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field (Finance/Accounting).
Certification: CPA (or finalist) status is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles, specifically in accounts receivable.
Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
Communication: Confident communicator with the ability to negotiate effectively for collections.
Detail Orientation: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
Proactivity: A proactive approach to follow-ups and collections management.
