Machakos Doctors Plaza is a multi-disciplinary medical clinic located in Machakos Town at IMANI PLAZA II, Machakos - Wote road, adjacent to Machakos Level 5 Hospital. We offer both general outpatient and specialists' clinical services to the people of Machakos and its environs. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Accountant to join our professional team.
Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate fiscal reporting, and maintaining the financial integrity of the medical clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the clinic.
Utilize accounting software to process financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Prepare financial reports and statements as required by management.
Manage payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
Provide analytical support for financial decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
Experience: Has at least three (3) years of relevant experience; experience in a healthcare setting is considered a distinct added advantage.
Technical Skills: Is proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Soft Skills: Possesses strong analytical skills, integrity, and attention to detail.
