Team Plus Limited is a leading outsourcing company located in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in staffing solutions for the hospitality industry. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of identifying and correcting errors beyond simple data entry.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with KRA requirements (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, etc.).
Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Review and reconcile accounts.
Monitor expenses and ensure cost control.
Support in the preparation of financial statements.
Handle final dues calculations and employee payments.
Work closely with HR on attendance, leave, and payroll matters.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in payroll-heavy environments.
Education: Diploma or Professional Certificate in Accounting or Finance.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Kenyan tax laws and statutory deductions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Availability: Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
