Jamii Telecommunications Limited (JTL) is seeking a competent Account Manager to build, maintain, and grow our customer base and relationships. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will help them achieve their objectives by providing tailored telecommunications solutions and services under our 'FAIBA' brand.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key business executives and stakeholders.
Client Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and objectives achieved through tailored solutions.
Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients.
Retention: Monitor account health and ensure customer satisfaction through regular check-ins and prompt resolution of issues or complaints.
Contracting: Negotiate service agreements, close deals, and conduct regular customer reviews to assess service delivery and propose improvements.
Reporting: Provide management with regular reports on account performance, sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
Market Awareness: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Tender Management: Lead technical and financial proposal preparation for tenders and ensure proactive follow-up.
Technical Knowledge: Stay updated on JTL’s services, products, and emerging industry technologies to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience: 4 - 5 years of proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
