Job Purpose
To provide efficient and courteous food service to patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring adherence to hospital hygiene and dietary standards.
Key Responsibilities
Serve meals and beverages to patients, staff, and guests promptly and professionally.
Assist patients with meal setup where necessary, observing dietary instructions.
Ensure proper handling and transportation of food from kitchen to service areas.
Maintain cleanliness of dining and serving areas.
Collect used trays, utensils, and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.
Communicate patient feedback or dietary concerns to the kitchen team.
Adhere to infection prevention, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Support stock control and replenishment of service items.
Qualifications & Requirements
KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
Certificate in Food & Beverage Service or Hospitality is an added advantage.
Previous experience in a hospital or hospitality setup is preferred.
