Jocham Hospital is a leading private medical service provider situated along Mombasa/Malindi Road, after Nyali Bridge within Mombasa County. We are looking for qualified Theatre Technicians to join our medical team.
Role Overview
The Theatre Technician will be responsible for supporting the surgical team during operations and maintaining the sterile integrity of the operating theater. This role requires technical proficiency in handling surgical instruments and equipment, as well as a strong commitment to patient safety and hospital protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Must be a holder of a minimum of a Diploma in Theatre Technology or a relevant field.
Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and functional.
Assisting surgeons and the nursing team during surgical procedures.
Maintaining a sterile environment to prevent hospital-acquired infections.
Cleaning, sterilizing, and properly storing surgical tools after procedures.
Assisting in the safe positioning and transport of patients.
