Job Description
Jocham Hospital, a leading private medical service provider situated along the Mombasa/Malindi Road in Mombasa County, is looking for qualified Pharmaceutical Technologists to join its clinical team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the professional handling and dispensing of medications while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately to patients.
Provide clinical advice to patients regarding drug dosage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock levels and expiry dates.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient medications and pharmacy transactions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in a relevant pharmaceutical field.
Education: Must be a holder of a minimum of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
Professionalism: Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
