The role of the Territory Sales Leader is to collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to execute marketing strategies and achieve subscriber base growth. This role is crucial in ensuring appropriate staffing levels and reseller numbers are met to achieve and surpass defined acquisition targets within the allocated business environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Territory Sales Leader will be responsible for:
Providing full support to the Regional Manager, Trade Representative, and agents within the allocated Zone.
Recruitment and management of Agents.
Ensuring that set targets are achieved and surpassed in the allocated Business Environment.
Maintaining an active pipeline of Customers, Agents, and Trade Development Representatives within the Zone.
Overseeing zonal development and implementation of short-term and long-term plans within the allocated business environment.
Supervising the implementation of various channels within an allocated Zone.
Preparing and presenting sales reports and plans using Microsoft Office tools.
Upholding integrity and demonstrating a good work ethic.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
Previous experience in Zonal Management.
Experience in selling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products. (Experience in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage).
3 Years of team leadership experience in commercial operations.
Proficiency in Route to Market strategies, Negotiation, and Presentation Skills.
Proven strategic and analytical skills combined with outstanding interpersonal skills, communication, and influencing abilities.
Expertise in Customer Relationship Management.
