Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the East Africa sales strategy with a strong emphasis on execution, scale, and sustainable growth.
- Lead, coach, and manage Sales Managers across markets, fostering a high-performance, accountable sales culture.
- Drive revenue growth, secure market share gains, and increase numerical distribution across all operational channels.
- Execute and optimize the route-to-market strategy across modern trade, general trade, and institutions.
- Translate the commercial strategy into clearly defined, actionable plans with measurable targets at every organizational level.
- Collaborate closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and Operations departments to ensure robust in-market execution.
- Cultivate strong relationships with essential customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance reviews, demonstrating a strong grasp of financial metrics and maintaining discipline.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, focusing significantly on coaching and effective succession planning.
