Morsan HR Consulting is seeking to hire a Fumigation and Pest Control Technician who will play a key role in executing fumigation and pest control services at client premises in a safe, compliant, and professional manner. The successful candidate will ensure effective pest elimination, maintain high client satisfaction, and strictly adhere to health and environmental safety standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, safety-conscious, disciplined, physically fit, and reliable under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Inspections & Planning: Conduct thorough pre-service inspections to identify pest types, assess infestation levels, determine affected areas, and evaluate safety risks. Confirm client instructions and scope of work before starting treatments.
Treatment Execution: Perform fumigation, spraying, baiting, and other pest control treatments across residential, commercial, and industrial premises. Recommend appropriate methods and chemicals based on infestation severity.
Chemical Safety & Compliance: Apply chemicals strictly according to approved dosage requirements, dilution ratios, and established safety standards. Adhere to manufacturer instructions and public health regulations.
Equipment & PPE: Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure safe storage and transportation of chemicals and maintain equipment such as sprayers and fogging machines.
Client Interaction: Explain treatment processes to clients, provide post-treatment precautions, and offer guidance on long-term safety measures.
Reporting: Capture before-and-after photographs, complete accurate job sheets, record chemical usage per site, and maintain detailed daily service logs.
Team Support: Assist in emergency call-outs and participate in large-scale fumigation projects and ongoing training.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in fumigation or pest control services.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills; high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
