Job Description

The Technical Intern role is based in Marsabit and supports Mawingu's field operations, focusing on installations, equipment recovery, and customer support activities for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) and Enterprise clients. The primary objective is to ensure high-quality installations, maintain customer satisfaction, and assist both the technical and sales teams in meeting service and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Support all SME/Enterprise installations and perform necessary repairs.
Effectively manage installation orders to meet defined revenue goals.
Provide timely feedback and detailed reports on installation progress.
Serve as a crucial liaison between clients, contractors, and the design teams.
Commission and thoroughly test all equipment post-installation to ensure functionality.
Ensure strict compliance with all company safety and operational policies.
Be available to provide emergency technical support when required.

Requirements

Education: Must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or a related technical field.
Experience: At least 6 months of practical ISP field installation experience.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be customer-focused with solid technical and organizational abilities.
