About the Role
Peaks Hotel Nanyuki is looking for a dedicated and organized Stock Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring stock accuracy, and overseeing store procedures to support the hotel's operations. This role is ideal for a professional with high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the hotel's inventory and stock-keeping records.
Conduct regular stock takes and audits to ensure the accuracy of physical stock against system records.
Monitor stock movements and implement effective control procedures.
Use accounting software and Microsoft Excel to track inventory levels and usage.
Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure timely restocking of essential supplies.
Analyze stock data to minimize wastage and optimize inventory levels.
Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
Requirements
Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
KCSE Grade C (Plain).
Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in stock control, preferably within a hotel setting.
Practical knowledge of hotel inventory systems and stock management procedures.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Highly developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
