Baran Telecom Networks (BTN) is a leading Telecom and Software solutions company providing innovative digital solutions through integrated emerging technologies such as Digital Platforms, Big Data, IoT, AI, and SDx. We are seeking hands-on and detail-oriented Civil Engineers to support both the design and execution of civil works across our project sites. This role is heavily field-based and will involve site supervision, implementation of drawings, and ensuring that all civil components meet required standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
Execute and supervise site preparation works, including excavation, trenching, and levelling activities.
Oversee construction of foundations, equipment bases, and related structural works in line with approved designs.
Interpret and implement engineering drawings and basic designs at site level, ensuring accuracy and practicality.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications and material standards.
Supervise contractors/Team and ensure civil works are completed within agreed timelines and scope.
Identify and resolve site-related challenges (e.g., ground conditions, design adjustments, delays) in a timely manner.
Coordinate with project and technical teams to ensure smooth integration of civil and installation works.
Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) requirements across all site activities.
Prepare and submit accurate site progress reports, highlighting milestones, risks, and delays.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
2–5 years of professional experience in civil works, site supervision, or infrastructure projects.
Experience in Solar Plants, substation construction, or similar field-based projects is an added advantage.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, support design work, and generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Strong understanding of site operations, construction processes, and quality control.
Good coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
