Our client in the engineering industry is urgently seeking a Construction Manager for a short-term project based in Nairobi. This role is a contract position for a project with an estimated duration of four (4) months, making it an excellent opportunity for a professional looking for a focused, high-impact project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations and ensuring that engineering standards and timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities
Directly manage and supervise on-site construction activities for the duration of the 4-month project.
Coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are delivered accurately.
Monitor and report on project progress to ensure completion within the defined timeline.
Enforce site safety protocols and quality control measures.
Manage resource allocation and logistics on the project site.
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum qualification of a BA/BSc/HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in the construction or engineering field.
Proven ability to manage short-term project cycles effectively.
Strong communication and site leadership skills.
