Job Description
The Shop Branding Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all Sun King branded retail outlets consistently meet defined brand standards across signage, visibility, in-store experience, and material quality. This role focuses on auditing, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement of retail branding execution across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Shop Branding Audits & Compliance
Conduct field audits of Sun King branded shops during the vendor branding process and upon completion to perform audit checks.
Verify correct installation and usage of branding materials such as signage, wall branding, window decals, and complete product installations.
Ensure strict alignment with brand guidelines regarding logo usage, colors, messaging, and layout.
Identify and document gaps, inconsistencies, or damaged branding elements during the branding process and ensure corrections are addressed with the vendor.
Document all course correction initiatives.
Quality Assurance Process Execution
Implement standardized QA checklists and audit frameworks.
Capture photographic evidence and detailed reports for each outlet visit with timestamps.
Score shops based on compliance metrics and defined QA benchmarks.
Track vendor adherence to branding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and installation standards.
Issue Identification & Resolution
Flag and document branding defects, poor installations, or unauthorized modifications.
Coordinate with vendors, installers, and internal teams to resolve identified issues.
Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed within the required timelines.
Data Collection & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of shop audit results in digital tools or dashboards.
Evaluate trends in compliance, regional performance, and recurring issues.
Provide weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Assist with performance scorecards for vendors and field teams.
Vendor & Field Team Coordination
Work closely with branding vendors, installers, and field sales teams.
Assist in the onboarding and training of vendors on branding standards.
Monitor vendor performance and adherence to quality expectations.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend improvements to branding materials, installation processes, and QA frameworks.
Contribute to cost optimization by identifying inefficiencies or rework drivers.
Assist with pilot programs for new branding formats or retail concepts.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in field marketing, retail execution, merchandising, or QA roles.
Strong experience in retail branding, merchandising, and trade marketing with a focus on visual quality standards.
Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools (ODK, KoboToolbox, Excel, or mobile audit applications).
High level of accuracy and quality control skills to assess visual standards.
Strong problem-solving, field execution, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
Highly disciplined, process-guided, and comfortable with extensive travel and fieldwork.
