Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager at Dawa Life Sciences is responsible for executing product management duties and developing comprehensive brand strategies. This role focuses on driving market growth through extensive product research, data-driven analytics, and effective leadership of marketing initiatives. The position requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between pharmacological knowledge and market success.
Key Responsibilities
Product Research: Gather physiological and pharmacological information on products to compile communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Market Research & Data Analytics: Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data on market trends and customer needs to drive decision-making.
Sales Force Effectiveness: Lead product knowledge and selling skills training for the sales team, followed by field visits to ensure strategy implementation.
ROI Assessment: Evaluate the impact of all marketing initiatives to ensure business returns and optimize resource allocation.
Pipeline Development: Coordinate with internal departments and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for new product launches and lifecycle management of existing brands.
Coaching: Mentor Product Managers, Junior Product Managers, interns, and Medical Representatives to support their career progression.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Communicate marketing plans and strategies to the sales team and corporate leadership to ensure organizational alignment.
Partner Engagement: Coordinate value propositions for external partners, including KOLs, medical associations, and institutional leaders.
Strategy & Roadmapping: Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with the company’s vision across all stages of the product lifecycle.
Marketing Materials: Oversee the creation, design, and procurement of promotional materials that communicate the corporate image and product value.
Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional activities in coordination with the sales team.
Budget Management: Optimize the allocation and use of the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life sciences related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
At least 2 years in a sales or marketing leadership position.
Demonstrated understanding of anatomy and pharmacology principles.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry trends and health systems.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with a passion for storytelling.
